Jubilee Ministries was established in 1997 to combine theological training with renewal and direct ministry to the poor.

We took our name from Luke 4:18-19:

"The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, Because He has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed, to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord."

Our Logo is the Chinese character "Go". It contains a cross, a dove (the Holy Spirit), a Bible, and a person kneeling. Together it summarizes our mission:

"In the power of the Holy Spirit, in worship, in dependence and obedience to God, we will go to grassroots people to share the Gospel with them."
