Rahab’s Rehab Ministry

The major purpose of Rahab’s Rehab Ministry is to provide evangelism to prostitutes. This Ministry’s Chinese name (Lotus Ministry) came from Prose for the Love of Lotus by Zhou Dun Yi. In the prose, there is one line that says “The Lotus never gets dirty though it rises from the mud underneath”. This expresses our hopes for the prostitutes. With the love and salvation of our Lord Jesus Christ, they can jump out of the muddy circumstances and become as clean as lotus.

 

Outreach work

  1. visit prostitutes at brothels
  2. organize festival and seasonal gatherings and other recreational activities
  3. organize evangelistic activities at female prison

 

Follow up

  1. provide counseling and refer addicted prostitutes to Christian drug Rehabilitation
  2. run holistic care groups and find housing for released female prisoners
  3. Crisis intervention (eg. Drug problems, suicide, family problems etc.), inner healing and deliverance, spiritual nurture
